The Converse University Esports program faced an immediate and critical existential threat: potential closure and defunding. This crisis required an unprecedented advocacy campaign to persuade the Board of Trustees to grant a one-year extension. While Converse University boasts a legacy dating back to 1889, the esports program—a modern pillar of student engagement and visibility—was suddenly placed on the chopping block.
The program's operational capacity was overwhelmed by the dual demand of the Advocacy campaign (mobilizing stakeholders to petition the Board) and the Storytelling initiative (producing a high-volume docuseries and social content). This required maintaining a unified brand voice (#ValkyrieStand) across dozens of individual contributors, a task difficult to manage manually, risking a fragmented message.

Achieving a premium brand identity no longer requires a premium price tag. We collaborated with AI to rebuild this brand from the ground up, creating a sophisticated visual identity—from the logo to the website—that saved thousands in creative costs. We also automated their administrative processes, ensuring every contact form inquiry is instantly routed to the correct team member and receives a personalized, timely response. We established the core narrative and call-to-action, #ValkyrieStand, before executing every necessary component for a successful advocacy push. We developed and executed a comprehensive strategy, encompassing all communications (press release), sponsorship deck design, partner acquisition, and the high-volume content plan (docuseries/social media) required to mobilize the community and secure the program's long-term sustainability with the Board of Trustees.
